Fluffy S’mores Rolls

Soft and pillowy rolls filled with gooey chocolate and toasted marshmallows, topped with crushed graham crackers for a delightful crunch.

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup warm milk (110°F)
  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • ½ cup crushed graham crackers
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast: Combine warm milk and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Make the dough: Add melted butter, egg, salt, and flour to the bowl. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 7-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Let it rise: Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Prepare the filling: Mix softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon (if using) in a small bowl.
  6. Roll out the dough: Roll the dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle. Spread the butter-sugar mixture evenly, leaving a small border.
  7. Add the filling: Sprinkle chocolate chips and mini marshmallows evenly over the buttered dough.
  8. Roll and cut: Roll the dough tightly into a log. Slice into 12 rolls and arrange in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  9. Final rise: Cover and let the rolls rise for 30 minutes.
  10. Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Top with graham crackers: Brush rolls with melted butter and sprinkle crushed graham crackers on top. Serve warm.
