A refreshing and spicy mango jalapeño frozen margarita mocktail rimmed with tangy Tajin seasoning, perfect for summer gatherings or a personal treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups ripe mangoes, peeled and diced (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 small jalapeño, seeded and chopped (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)
  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar or honey
  • 1/2 cup cold water or sparkling water
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • Tajin seasoning for rimming the glass
  • Pinch of salt mixed with Tajin for the rim

Instructions

  1. Prepare the glasses by mixing Tajin seasoning with a pinch of salt on a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass, then dip the rims gently into the Tajin mixture to coat. Set aside to dry slightly.
  2. Peel and dice the mangoes into chunks. Slice the jalapeño, remove seeds for less heat, and chop finely.
  3. In a blender, combine mango chunks, chopped jalapeño, fresh lime juice, agave nectar (or honey), cold water, and ice cubes. Blend on high until smooth and slushy. Adjust consistency by adding more water or ice as needed.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or heat by adding more agave nectar or jalapeño, or a dash of Tajin inside the drink.
  5. Pour the frozen mocktail into the prepared glasses and garnish with a lime wedge or thin jalapeño slice if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use ripe mangoes for best sweetness and flavor. Adjust jalapeño heat by removing seeds or roasting it briefly. Wet glass rims with lime juice (not water) for better seasoning adherence. Frozen mango chunks can be used to speed up preparation and improve texture. Store blended mixture in freezer up to 24 hours and re-blend with ice before serving.
