A quick and effortless summer grazing board featuring creamy honey brie, fresh seasonal fruits, crunchy crackers, and toasted nuts, perfect for casual gatherings and light entertaining.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) honey brie or triple-cream brie, at room temperature
  • 23 tablespoons good-quality honey (local or wildflower preferred)
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup seedless grapes (red or green), washed
  • 1 ripe peach or nectarine, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries or blackberries
  • Variety of crackers: water crackers, multigrain, or rosemary crackers
  • Baguette slices, toasted lightly
  • Handful of toasted almonds or walnuts
  • Fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary sprigs for garnish (optional)
  • Olives or pickles for a touch of briny contrast (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring the brie to room temperature about 30 minutes before assembling to soften it for easy spreading.
  2. Rinse all fresh fruits gently under cool water and pat dry. Hull and halve strawberries, slice peaches thinly, and remove stems from grapes or berries.
  3. Toast nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until fragrant, stirring frequently. Let cool.
  4. If using baguette slices, toast them lightly for 5 minutes at 350°F (175°C) until golden and crisp. Arrange crackers in small piles.
  5. Place the brie wheel or wedge near the center or slightly off-center on your serving board. Drizzle honey evenly over the top, letting it pool slightly on the sides.
  6. Surround the cheese with clusters of fruit, crackers, toasted nuts, and any olives or pickles included. Scatter fresh herbs around for aroma and color.
  7. Check that everything is visually balanced and within easy reach. Add extra honey on the side for guests to drizzle if desired.

Notes

Bring brie to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving for best texture and flavor. Toast nuts gently to enhance crunch and aroma. Assemble board just before serving to keep crackers crisp. For vegan option, substitute brie with plant-based cheese and honey with maple syrup.
