Delicious Chicken Fillet Recipe with Garlic-Parmesan Sauce

Tender, juicy chicken fillet smothered in a creamy, garlicky Parmesan sauce, paired with golden, crispy fries lightly seasoned to perfection.

  • 2 large chicken breasts, sliced into fillets
  • 1/2 cup (60g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup (75g) freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, paprika, and garlic powder in a mixing bowl. Spread them on the baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  3. Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish. Coat each chicken fillet evenly in the mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken fillets and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and spoon the garlic-Parmesan sauce over each fillet. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to allow the chicken to soak up the flavors.
  7. Plate the chicken fillets alongside the crispy fries. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For gluten-free, use almond or rice flour. For dairy-free, opt for coconut cream and vegan Parmesan substitutes. Add a splash of milk or chicken broth if the sauce is too thick.
