Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups shredded chicken, cooked
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)
  • Sliced green onions, for garnish
  • Tortilla chips, celery sticks, carrot sticks, or crackers for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish lightly with cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Fold in shredded chicken and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. If using blue cheese crumbles, mix those in as well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the top.
  5. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Sprinkle with sliced green onions and serve warm with your favorite dippers.

Notes

[‘Let cream cheese sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to soften for easier mixing.’, ‘Pre-shredded cheese may affect creaminess; shred your own cheese for best results.’, ‘Adjust spice level by reducing buffalo sauce or adding more ranch dressing.’, “Keep the dip warm during the game by transferring it to a slow cooker on the ‘warm’ setting.”, ‘Double the recipe for larger crowds and use a bigger baking dish.’]
